lithics-holding

Throughout the year we run a selection of varied and exciting lithic-related events, which are open to all members.

Please keep checking back for the latest news on our events. Information will also be circulated nearer the time of each event so could we ask you to make sure that we have your up-to-date email address.

Feel free to contact the Events Secretary if you are organising an event which fellow members would be interested in attending – museum or site visits, for instance. We can help you publicise your event to the membership, and provide organisational support.

Our 2025 Annual Conference will take place on 7th and 8th November 2025 in Leicester.

Knapping at Butser

Butser Ancient Farm are kind enough to welcome our society for a knapping weekend in August every year. Practical help and demonstrations are on hand from a professional flintknapper.

Depending on circumstances year-to-year, it may even be possible to stay overnight in the roundhouse, for a truly unforgettable experience!
