Student Conference Fund

Student Conference Fund

As prices rise, so it becomes more and more difficult for students to afford to attend conferences, where ticket, travel and accommodation costs can often run to over £300 per event. The LSS are often asked whether we can provide any support, but none of our current bursaries are suitable for this. We are hoping to build a pot of money to allow us to offer grants of £200 for students interested in lithics and hoping to attend or present at archaeological conferences.

If you would like to support the development of this fund by donating, please contact us at email hidden; JavaScript is required or members can donate using the “Donate to the LSS” item in the Membermojo store (be sure to let us know by email that you would like your donation to go towards this fund).
