Treasurer & Membership Secretary: Ashley Brogan
Ashley is a freelance archaeologist and PhD student at the University of York. Much of Ashley’s professional work focuses on the impact of environment restoration projects on archaeological remains, with recent projects including peatland restoration, river restoration, woodland creation and landscape recovery. Her PhD, titled ‘Revealing the invisible: Identifying preserved Pennine Mesolithic sites in the face of climate change’, models the locations of previously undiscovered (invisible) Pennine Mesolithic sites. Ashley is also a keen hiker and climber and is particularly interested in upland landscapes in her research.
