Publicity Officer: Robert Banbury
My career so far has been wholly devoted to the print and magazine publishing world, but in recent years I have used any spare time available to pursue my interests in archaeology, local history and prehistoric studies. I also enjoy a spot of flint knapping and hope to adapt that to a more experimental pursuit when time allows.
I’ve been lucky enough to have participated in a variety of excavations, from Palaeolithic through to Roman period sites. For a number of years I was also a volunteer at the county archaeology and museum stores.
I am currently involved in research and fieldwork studying the Mesolithic and Bronze Age artefacts and landscape of my local area.
