The
Journal of the Lithic Studies
Society
Lithics is the the Society's annual journal. Published
in the spring of each year, Lithics contains articles,
reviews, a bibliography of recent publications relevant to
lithic studies, and news of the Society's related activities.
The contents pages of recent issues can be accessed via the
menu above.
Lithics Special Volume
Lithics 30 (for 2009) will be a Special Volume with
invited contributions, on the subject of major contributions
to the development of lithic research and Palaeolithic
archaeology (to mark the 150th anniversary of the publication
of The Origin of Species and the visits by Evans and Prestwich
to the Somme valley in 1859). Other forthcoming contributions
to Lithics should therefore be submitted for Volume 31 (for
2010), with a deadline of May 31st 2010 for Lithics 31
(Lithics 29 for 2008 is currently in preparation and its
contents have been finalised). If you have any queries please
