Hon. Secretary: Barry Bishop

Barry

Barry is currently completing a PhD at the University of York, which aims to place Grimes Grave's within its broader cultural and physical landscape by examining the relationship between the flintmines and the communities that lived and worked in their vicinity. He also undertakes stone tool analysis for a number of academic and commercial organisations on a freelance basis. His particular research interests include the changing traditions of working and using flint with the aim of exploring the reciprocal relationships between people, materials, time and place.
